Adult SABINE'S GULL still at Upton Warren NR at the Flashes early morning and flew north at 1.56pm with c20 Black-headed Gulls (Simon Vickers) and again in roost this evening and juvenile Black Tern roosted again (earlier at the Moors Pool until 7.10pm) (Mike Wakeman), plus 4 Green Sandpipers and Common Sandpiper (Simon Vickers).

Adult SABINE'S GULL still at Upton Warren NR at the Flashes this afternoon (Andy Warr) and in gull roost this evening showing on+off and juvenile Black Tern again (Dave Walker). Also Osprey flew over sailing lake at c8.25am (Dave Walker) and over the Flashes at 8.27am then flew south (Phil Andrews), plus juvenile Black Tern still at the Moors Pool, Hobby, Common Sandpiper (Dave Walker & Phil Andrews) and Bittern reported still at the Moors Pool.

Adult SABINE'S GULL again at Upton Warren NR at the Flashes from 7pm and was attacked by a Lesser Black-backed Gull which attempted to drown it - bird appears to have sustained injuries (Dave Walker). Also juvenile Black Tern still at the Moors Pool, Little Egret, Hobby (Dave Walker), Common Sandpiper and 2 Ringed Plover over at 8.45am. Also 5 Green Sandpipers at the Flashes, Common Sandpiper and Yellow Wagtail over (Phil Andrews).

Adult SABINE'S GULL again at Upton Warren NR at the Flashes from 7.55pm, plus Golden Plover from 6.40pm, juvenile Black Tern briefly and 7 Green Sandpipers (Andy Warr & Craig Reed). Also juvenile Black Tern at the Moors Pool on rails in front of concrete hide this morning (Simon Vickers) and still present this afternoon (Mike Wakeman & Craig Reed) and Green Sandpiper.

3 juvenile Black Terns still at Upton Warren NR at the Moors Pool this afternoon, plus Hobby and Common Sandpiper. Also 8 Green Sandpipers at the Flashes and 3 Common Sandpipers (Phil Andrews). No sign of adult Sabine's Gull in roost this evening (Jason Kernohan).

Adult SABINE'S GULL again at Upton Warren NR at the Flashes at 5.15pm then flew south (Des Jennings) and again this evening and 2 juvenile Black Terns roosted (Rob Prudden, Craig Reed & Dave Walker). Also 2 juvenile Black Terns at sailing lake mid-morning (Des Jennings) then relocated at the Moors Pool at 1.15pm (Stuart Andrews) and still present this evening (Craig Reed).

Adult SABINE'S GULL again at Upton Warren NR at the Flashes at 6.40pm (Steve Bloomfield).

August 24th

Adult SABINE'S GULL again at Upton Warren NR at the Flashes in roost from c8pm (Des Jennings). Also 6 Black Terns at sailing lake from 5.45pm (Alan Hambury) then relocated to the Flashes but flew high south c7.45pm (Craig Reed), plus female Garganey at the Flashes at rear of 2nd flash 4pm - 4.25pm, Greenshank c3.20pm - 3.30pm (Alan Hambury), 2 Little Egrets at the Moors Pool this morning then flew off early afternoon, Green Sandpiper and Hobby on power lines left of East Hide and over adjacent fields (Stuart Andrews).

August 23rd

Adult SABINE'S GULL still at Upton Warren NR at the Flashes at c5.30am then flew NE (Andrew Crumpton) and on sailing lake briefly at 5.40am (Gareth Metcalf) but no sign in roost this evening (Andy Warr). Also 12 Green Sandpipers, 3 Common Sandpipers and Dunlin (Phil Andrews).

August 22nd

Adult SABINE'S GULL still at Upton Warren NR at the Flashes until 5.43am and over sailing lake briefly at 5.45am then flew north and again in roost from 8.15pm and showing well. Also juvenile Mediterranean Gull on the Flashes late afternoon/this evening (Rob Prudden), plus Whimbrel still at 5am calling (Dave Jackson) and again at dusk (Craig Reed), 8 Green Sandpipers,3 Common Sandpipers, Dunlin and Hobby, plus Little Egret at the Moors Pool (Phil Andrews).

Adult SABINE'S GULL still at Upton Warren NR at the Flashes until c5.35am when flew north and again in roost on the Flashes at c8.30pm (Terry Norledge). Also Whimbrel, Dunlin, 10 Green Sandpipers and 5 Common Sandpipers (John Belsey).

Male MONTAGU'S HARRIER at Upton Warren NR at the Flashes briefly at 7.40am then flew NW (Phil Andrews, John Belsey & Brian Richardson) and juvenile SPOTTED CRAKE at the Moors Pool this afternoon and showing well from West Hide around feeding station but no further sign c7.20pm - dusk (Terry Norledge). Also Wood Sandpiper still at the Flashes, plus Black-tailed Godwit, Yellow Wagtail, Hobby, 16 Green Sandpipers and 4 Common Sandpipers, plus Little Egret at the Moors Pool.
